 Judy
lives in northeast Nebraska just over the hill from the family homestead.
She was raised with a love and respect of horses from her first pasture
pony, "Old Queenie." She has had a great 34+ years career in anesthesia
while always having top quality horses around. The last few years have been
spent building up the broodmare band and is hoping to see the fruits of
those labors pay off in babies and show ring success. She is a self proclaimed
pasture rider turned wanna be reiner.
Bottger Quarter Horses is focusing on mares and breeding to produce open quality horses with dispositions suited to the amateur rider, no matter what discipline the horses decide to fit into. However, their passion is reining. |

Joani
and her husband live in Southeastern South Dakota on a mixed cattle and
crop farm and raise a few club lambs. She judged livestock in junior college
and senior college. Her focus is on structure. She believes that if they
can’t carry themselves properly, they won’t hold up during training
or in the show ring. She has just started her nursing career and will
hopefully have more time for the show ring in the coming months.
Jeff
is a newly graduated veterinary student from Kansas State University and
is looking forward to spending more time in the show ring. He focuses
on herd health, nutrition, and soundness for the longevity of the horses
out of our program.
